The conversation focuses on the American artist's stays in Milan, highlighting the profound repercussions that these stays had on Matta Clark's artistic project. The premise is constituted by the bond between Gordon Matta Clark and Dennis Oppenheim (on the occasion of the Earth Art exhibition, conceived by Willoughby Sharp, at Cornell University Andrew Dickson White Museum of Art, Cornell University, 11 February - 16 March 1969) dates back to that I encounter the creation of the cut in the ice of Bee Lake Ice Cut (1969).
