On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, Tommaso Calabro inaugurates Copley, an exhibition dedicated to the American artist William N. Copley (1919-1996), one of the most singular figures of Post-war painting and a fundamental link between European Surrealism and American Pop Art. Through a selection of paintings and works on paper from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, the exhibition explores the universe of Copley, an artist who challenged conventions by offering a satirical and playful reading of the world.
