Galleria Raffaella De Chirico Arte contemporanea presents a solo exhibition by artist Sergio Ragalzi entitled "Hyenas", with reference to the cycle of works of the same name exhibited in the gallery spaces. The cycle of works, which dates back to the 1980s and is almost entirely unpublished, features the skeletal heads of these wild mammals evoked in their frightening nature, repeated as modules in the various canvases. In the exhibition, the canvases will be juxtaposed with some very recently produced sculptures in painted corten steel, representing monkey heads - continuing an investigation that has been carried out by the artist since the 1990s - those same monkeys that in their pictorial version were defined by Sargentini as 'perversely human'.
